www.naa.gov.au (National Archives)has a great section on WW1 and Australian Servicemen.
In Mapping Our Anzacs http://mappingouranzacs.naa.gov.au/ you can find WW1 service persons and find their detailed service records.

http://www.cwgc.org/ is the website of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Search for Commonwealth service persons who died in both World Wars in the "Debt of Honour Register"; Find War memorials and cemeteries which are also in this register.
The"Histories" section has some good information on major campaigns and battles and is the result of a collaboration between the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and the Imperial War Museum.
